Salt & Lime is known for its unique twist on the classic Mexican dishes you know and love. The restaurant is open daily from 12:00 PM to 8:30 PM, with happy hour scheduled from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. During happy hour, you can enjoy $5 tacos and $9 Casa Margaritas, making it the perfect time to sample our taco selection. Try the Al Pastor—grilled pork adobada, salsa verde, piña fresca, and lime crema; the Chicken Tinga—chilaca chicken, avocado, pickled onion & cabbage, queso cotija, cilantro, and lime aioli; or the Pescado Fresco—Pacifico beer-battered or grilled fish, cool raw slaw, lime crema, and pineapple pico. Each taco is packed with bold flavors and fresh ingredients that are sure to delight your taste buds.

Aurum Food & Wine

Where? 811 Yampa Street

Happy hour at Aurum Food & Wine runs from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday and 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM on weekdays. Patrons can choose from snacks such as a warm order of the Parker house rolls, Latin street tacos, crispy curried cauliflower, or Aurum nachos with an option to add carnitas! No happy hour would be complete without a selection of adult beverages and Aurum Food & Wine has you covered. Cocktails included a “Choose Your Mule” option with your choice of well spirit mixed with ginger beer and lime and a classic gold rush with bourbon, lemon, and honey. Opt for a glass of white, red, or sparkling wine, or keep it simple with a draft beer or two. Aurum keeps a seasonal rotating tap on the menu, as well as Stella Artois, Chowder Hazy IPA, Urban Sombrero, and more from Colorado breweries.

Sunset Happy Hour

This is a can’t-miss Steamboat Springs activity and one that’s increasingly popular amongst locals. If you’re here visiting or you’ve recently started calling Steamboat home, this is a great way to meet new faces and to start engaging with other members of the community. Enjoy the scenery and the selection of culinary delights and drinks while you listen to live music. Tickets are sold onsite at the base of the Steamboat Gondola, with 24/25 pass holders receiving free admission and guests being charged $30 (ages 5 and up; 4 and under are complimentary). The Sunset Happy Hour is scheduled most Thursdays and Sundays from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A full bar and light appetizers will be available to purchase, such as chips and guac, caprese skewers, mozzarella sticks, and pizza. Upcoming performances include Colony Funk, Wais Vibe, and Morningside String Band wrapping up in September.

Happy hour at Laundry’s is from 4:30 PM to 5:30 PM daily. Bites are priced at $9 and include a selection of tasty plates like fried chicken, calamari, shoestring fries, banh mi sliders, and pimento cheese. Tacos are set at $5 each or 3 for $12 and you can choose from smoked brisket, southern fried avocado, or rice tempura shrimp. Of course, no happy hour menu would be complete without the sips. Patrons can choose any cocktail from the list for $10 and enjoy half-price straight pours of select scotch, American whiskey, or tequila. “Wine by the Time” prices select wines at whatever the time is. Make sure to order your first glass when you sit down!

Mambo Italiano

Happy hour runs during the first hour and a half of dinner service from 4:00 PM to 5:30 PM. Enjoy 50% off specialty cocktails, 30% off wine by the glass, $5 draft beer, and 30% off appetizers. This is a great way to save money and try new drinks and dishes from this delightful restaurant that serves up shareable plates like the truffle and herb frites, the crab & jalapeño hush puppies, and a gluten-free mushroom bisque. Follow up your appetizer with “A Night in Tijuana Chicken Sammy” with a buttermilk fried chicken breast, cotija cheese, and an array of savory, fresh, and spicy additions or the shrimp and grits that will transport you to the southern coast. Back Door Grill is “where the locals eat”! Happy hour deals kick off at 3:30 PM and run through 5:30 PM. Order $5 Jameson’s, well cocktails, or house wines, or go for The Dirty Duke for $7. All drafts are $2 off as well. Pair your discounted drinks with a classic cheeseburger for $7 or a half dozen wings for $8. No judgments if you order a large basket of fries and an order of chips and queso (both priced at $6). With so many deals to choose from, you may have trouble deciding! Though not on the happy hour menu, you may be tempted by the Dirty Harry burger. O’Neils Tavern & Grill

O’Neils is open from 11:00 AM to 11:00 PM every day, with a daily happy hour from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM. Drink specials during happy hour include $5 well drinks, $6 5-ounce pours of house wine, $7 car bombs, and $2 off drafts, micro, and imports. Food specials to pair with your beverages of choice include jumbo pretzels, cornbread muffins, potato skins, fried chicken sliders, and Irish mac and cheese — all for $10 or under.
