Those of us who would rather not schlep our ski gear back and forth every day have several options to consider. A range of pay-as-you-go storage and membership clubs are making the avid skier and boarders’ lives easier. 

At the base area, the Ski Corral houses overnight, weekly and seasonal ski storage. The ski area offers daily-fee lockers at the base of the Gondola Square Building and next to Steamboat Ski and Sport at the Sheraton Hotel. Those with less to carry can utilize the basket check for lunch items or larger bins in the lobby of the Thunderhead building on the mountain. 

Owners at the Steamboat Grand have the option to store equipment by the Slopeside Owners Club at the base area or purchase a seasonal locker by the parking garage. Amenities for owners also include the use of two lounge/ event spaces and access to the pool and fitness center. 

The Base Club, operated by the Steamboat Resort, offers seasonal and short-term membership all winter. Member benefits include a locker room, ski valet service, self-parking on the mountain, and priority gondola boarding. 

Those seeking an exclusive slopeside experience can purchase a membership to The Summit Club at One Steamboat Place. 59 memberships are still up for grabs by purchasing a lot at Alpine Mountain Ranch and Club. Members and owners at One Steamboat Place can enjoy complimentary breakfast and après ski appetizers, concierge and ski valet services, on-site parking, locker room, fitness center, hot tub and pool plus access to ongoing seasonal events.
