Celebrate the Holidays Steamboat Style

As 2020 comes to a close, a pandemic won’t stop the community of Steamboat Springs celebrating the holidays.  Favored traditions and the local calendar of events may look a little different, but socially distant creativity conquers all.

Shop Local. Support Local.

STEAMBOAT STOCKING STUFFERS

Support local retailers and producers for all your holiday goodies. Find luxury gifts and stocking stuffers, throughout downtown Steamboat or online at the annual Holiday in the Rockies gift show. Steamboat Creates is offering access to a host of one-of-kind gifts with contactless curbside pick up at the Depot Art Center.

SAVOR A TASTE OF STEAMBOAT

Limited capacity in Steamboat’s restaurants does not have to mean you risk missing out on savoring their sublime flavors.  Most local eateries offer take out with delivery or contactless curbside pickup. A list of options can be found at www.mainstreetsteamboat.com

ALPINE TRADITIONS

Make the ultimate Steamboat feast in your own kitchen over the holidays. Treat the household to a time honored Alpine tradition of fondue, raclette, or specialty cheeses from the Homesteader on Lincoln Avenue. Gather fresh local meats at Steamboat Meat and Seafood or The MEATBAR, and bread for dipping at Smell That Bread. Top off the calorific feast with locally made Chocolates by Daniela (located at the Homesteader) and a Slopeside Chardonnay from Steamboat Winery.

The concert will be live streamed at 3 p.m. on December 20.
