New To Steamboat’s Dining Scene

Nothing gets your appetite going like a day of playing in the snow. This winter, the Steamboat Spring’s dining scene has even more options to add to your plate.

Dusky Grouse Coffee

Warm up with a hot drink and a pastry at Dusky Grouse Coffee, which doubles as a record store and is quickly becoming a favorite gathering place for locals.

The Meatbar by Laura the Butcher

Sip wine and snack on a European-inspired charcuterie platter at The Meatbar on Lincoln Avenue, opened by Laura the Butcher in Fall 2021.

Clyde’s Pies

Take pizza to a whole new level at Clyde’s Pies on 7th Street, where hand-tossed specialties are created by a long-time local chef, dubbed ‘the master of wood-fire cookery.’ Stop by the Clark Store in North Routt on the weekends, where pies are made to order on site.

Primrose

Take it up a notch with oysters and hand-cut steaks at Primrose on the corner of 11th and Yampa streets. Chef Collin Kelley doubles as operations director in the latest addition to Steamboat’s fine dining scene.

Tahk Omakase Sushi

Sample traditional Edo-Mae and Izakaya style Japanese sushi at Tahk Omakase on Lincoln Avenue. The menu is dependent on the fresh catch flown in from the Toyosu Market in Tokyo.

Mad Creek BBQ and Saloon

Barbecue lovers are holding their breath for the imminent opening of Mad Creek BBQ and Saloon. Set in the former iconic Tap House location, Mad Creek will serve up Texas-style BBQ.
