This Saturday, February 8th, during the Winter Carnival Night Extravaganza, Tim Borden will attempt to launch the world’s largest firework. Unfortunately, last year’s attempt failed to explode in the air as the mortar never left the shell. Measurements were taken from the launch site which aided Tim and his team to identify what went wrong. Fingers crossed for a successful launch at the 107th Annual Steamboat Springs Winter Carnival. Adjudicators from the Guinness Book of World Records will be there to determine Borden’s success. You can read the full article here.
