Are you interested in paying it forward and want to help those in need? Here are a few thing that you can do:

1) Helping Routt County and the Routt County Council on Aging are both organizations that are assisting the elderly with shopping and meal needs at this time. Want to see how you can assist? E-mail HelpingRoutt@gmail.com or call the Routt County Council on Aging at 970-879-0633.

2) Support our local restaurants! While there is a 30-day suspension of dine-in services, most restaurants are still providing delivery or take-out options. Just please make sure to tip at least 20%!

5) And very importantly, help yourself and others by practicing kindness, patience and understanding. This is uncharted territory for all of us. Let’s practice compassion and looking out for one another.
